Cliffs of Moher

I didn't know in the midst of a crazy hail storm in June that we'd get a bunch of roofing jobs.  I also didn't know that by using our reward miles cards to pay for the materials, we'd be able to accompany Lu on the beginning of her trip to Sudan, to Europe.  And, I didn't know that we'd be able to fly into Ireland to visit my niece, Tarah, for a few days!  What a wonderful blessing!  We LOVE travel, so this was an amazing opportunity we couldn't pass up!

We left Denver at 10:30am and landed in Ireland 7am, we tried to sleep on the plane but you all know how that goes.  It's always crazy getting ready for a trip, especially an international one.  Throw in a possible broken nose, pneumonia, double ear infections, bronchitis and a 1/2 marathon, we were quite exhausted when we finally boarded our plane!

As soon as we grabbed our luggage, we picked up our rental and took off to begin our adventure!  First stop, Cliffs of Moher.  We arrived here early, they weren't even open yet.  Free visit, YES!    The cold, wet air did a great job of waking us up.  What a glorious view!
