Cologne

These are some yummy German chocolates that Anna & Christian gave us,

they were so cute I just had to share them with you, well a picture of them at least!

We, our family, Joy, Anna, Christian and baby Emily, got up about 6:30am to head to Cologne and then Holland. Christians parents graciously kept their three older boys while we were out touring! The sunrise, as you can see, was breathtaking!

We stopped and had some fabulous pastries at a bakery that Christian's future sister in law's family owns, just outside Cologne. This however, put us a tinch behind schedule causing our trip to the cathedral to be worthy of the Amazing Race show. Or at least I imagine so, I've never actually watched the show!

Joy raced to the top with our family, Anna, Christian and Emily opted out for that one.

They chose instead to purchase some batteries for the kids cameras and a card reader for our camera, we forgot our cord! I believe this stop was just under or right around an hour!
