Holland

We went to Haarlem and visited Corrie Ten Boom's house, it was amazing! The kids really enjoyed it. Again, we were racing through the town trying to make it there on time. We thought the last english tour was at 2:30pm an I believe we arrived with only minutes to spare. On the door was the note saying that the last english tour was at 3pm that day. We had our first McDonld's stop for lunch and spent the equivilant of about $40 on lunch just for the 8 of us, yikes! It was tasty though! Upon finding out that the kids had read the book for school, the tour guide gave us a special trip up onto the roof.

Afterward we drove to Amsterdam to see Anne Franks house. Sadly, after Corrie Ten Booms, it wasn't all that excting. Amsterdam is beautiful though and we enjoyed our visit. No tullips but there were some daffodils and other flowers blooming.
